One of the most fundamental divisions of reality, especially the reality that is man, is the division and integration within us of the material and the spiritual world. The content of this sculpture, and in general my attitude to sculptural creativity, was expressed with extraordinary depth by Immanuel Kant in his famous sentence: "Two things fill the mind with continually new and increasing admiration and awe, the oftener and the more steadily we reflect on them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me."
